Noble Laureate Wole Soyinka thinks President Mohammadu Buhari is under a trance and advises him to wake up as soon as possible.
With the recent inconsistencies associated with the present administration, the widely recognized poet and political critic said Buhari has most likely fallen into trance especially because of the so many unsaid errors.
Soyinka made the statement when interviewed by pressmen to comment on the increasing tension posed by attacks on farmers by Fulani herdsmen. The obviously frustrated professor could not hold back his anger, he said;
“Mr President, I think you are under a trance, the sooner he gets out of it the better. So many unforced errors are going on.”
When asked what kind of trance the president might be in, he said;
“I don’t know. So many unforced errors. Take for instance, the suspended Executive Secretary of the National Health Insurance Scheme, Usman Yusuf, reinstated by the President. What is that about? What is going on?”
