Winter Olympics: Nigeria’s Bobsled Women Team Finish 20th

The women’s bobsled team of Nigeria, the first ever from the country at the Winter Games, finished 20th out of 20 teams at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea on Wednesday. Simidele Adeagbo Set To Represent Nigeria In South Korea Winter Olympics

Speaking on how they fared in the competition, Seun Adigun, one of the bobsled women said;

“We did everything we could. People are super-stoked back in Nigeria. We just pray all of our resilience does foster into some future athletes”.

Feeling optimistic about what the future holds, she added;

“By God’s grace you will see Nigeria in Beijing,”. The Nigerian women plan to try again and better at the 2022 Beijing Olympics.
