The third edition of Point of Sale (PoS) Innovation Summit is fixed to take place at Wheatbaker Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos on 27th of March, 2018.

The Point of Sale (PoS) innovation summit is an avenue meant to bridge noticeable gaps in the PoS business in Nigeria. It’s a quarterly event established to tackle differences and problems that may arise from using the machine and to provide suitable solutions as necessary.

Management of the event always make it a point of duty to invite technology experts to expatiate more on the functions, importance and usefulness of using PoS especially in this cashless era. The summit brings together the PoS stakeholders from all parts of the country to rub minds together on how to improve better service delivery of the payment system.

The theme for this edition of the summit is ‘Deepening Financial Inclusion Through Agency Banking’. Participants at the event should expect speakers to give insights on the roles and contributions of agency banking in breaking the financial inclusion challenge, using PoS terminals as a platform.

Notable speakers and participants of the upcoming event are Niyi Ajao, Executive Director, Nigeria Interbank Settlement Systems; UzomaNwagba, CEO, Government Enterprise and Empowerment Program, MarketMoni, Bank of Industry; Temitope Akin-Fadeyi, Head, Financial Inclusion, Central Bank of Nigeria; and Tunde Ogungbade, Managing Director, Global Accelerex Ltd.

The PoS Innovation Summit is known for its invaluable contributions towards the growth and acceptance of the PoS channel in the Nigerian financial industry, increasing efficiency and service delivery of PoS services across the country.
