Former CBN Governor, Mallam Adamu Ciroma Dies At 84

Former Governor of Central bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mallam Adamu Ciroma is dead.

Prior his demise, Adamu was also a foremost and functional politician; he was one of the founding fathers of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and was a former Minister of Finance during ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo’s first term in office.

The late democrat and nationalist was reported to have given up the ghost at the Turkish Nizamiye Hospital, Abuja after battling with a protracted illness for a week.

He was aged 84. May his soul rest in peace.
